“I absolutely love the warm and unmistakable vocal harmonies of the Browns. Their new single ‘Forgive and Forget’ fully lives up to expectations - it’s heartfelt, moving and full of musical sincerity.” - Terence Blacker - journalist, songwriter and author
‘Scorpion’ is inspired by a line from Macbeth: “O, full of scorpions is my mind.” The song reflects feelings of guilt, anxiety and despair, tracing the emotional fallout of a parent’s fear of estrangement from their teenage children following divorce.
While the subject matter is unflinching, the music itself is marked by a sombre beauty. Layers of close, weighted harmonies and the steady, almost looming presence of a cello give the song its gravity and pathos. The arrangement feels deliberately heavy, with the harmonies and instrumentation creating a sense of emotional pressure that carries the song forward.

Inspired by real-life stories seen on the news, For Those Who Can Never Go Home is a heartfelt reaction to the suffering of those who have lost their home, whether it's due to war, political actions, redundancy, relationship breakdown or mental health challenges.
All proceeds from the single between 28th February and the release of the album in the Spring will be donated to The British Red Cross and Crisis, two charities dedicated to supporting those in need, offering aid to refugees, and tackling homelessness across the UK. You can buy the song on Bandcamp if you wish to support the charities, or just stream it through the usual channels.
